Play Date

Titon and Sable

Eric enjoys Sable's company too!

Oh, Sable loves Titon so much. She gets so excited when we pull up in their driveway. Of course, he's equally delighted to see her. Sable certainly enjoyed her evening playing with Titon at his house. The two of them are like horses running through the house.

The Rottie Had a Bad Day

“Whoops! I'm sorry, Mom! I was too bored"
Due to extra class assignments, Jeremy was unable to go home after classes before he had to be at work. Sable spent the entire day in the backyard by herself. I presume from the above evidence that loneliness will provoke just about anything. At least I had a good laugh & caught it on camera!!

Colors of Spring

Spring is here, and we have started preparing our yard with beautiful colors. Our azaleas bloomed over the weekend providing a beautiful radiance in our front yard. Our flower bed is ready to be planted as soon as the last threat of frost is over. We are expecting nighttime temperatures to fall into the low 30’s this weekend.

Saturday is for Hamburgers, Family & Friends!!

Jeremy grilled some awesome hamburgers Saturday evening, and we were blessed to have Matt, Amy and Jack join us. The adults dined on burgers while the little monkey, Jack, ate only bananas!! Thanks to Amy for the delicious chocolate cheese cake. After dinner, I pulled out my large bin of children’s books, and Jack was truly overwhelmed. Having those books out again, brought back so many wonderful memories at Nancy Carson Library.

Nanny & Papa's Visit to AR

Nanny & Papa drove out to Arkansas for the first time on Thursday, and we were delighted to see them. Papa received special guided fishing trips on the Arkansas River, the Little Red River, and even a trip to the pond at the local library on Friday. Nanny & I joined them at the pond, and while they fished, Sable, Nanny & I walked the trail. However, Saturday's morning weather was slightly less than desirable, although we were ecstatic to see the pollen wash away. Around lunch time the rain broke off and we were able to visit Pinnacle Mountain. We had a great time looking out over the Arkansas River and Lake Maumelle. Of course, Sable enjoyed the freedom of climbing rocks with me.

We had an excellent visit with Nanny & Papa, and Jeremy & I feel blessed that they were able to travel to see us.
