BIG Swimmer!!

Sable is polishing her skills as a retriever!! HA! Ha! We've been taking Sable to Lake Willastein here in the afternoons to let her swim. She loves swimming for the tennis ball and diving for rocks!!

Reese Trip to AR

Ronnie & Sharon flew out to see us May 9-13. We had an absolute grand time visiting and playing. Jeremy & Ronnie did lots of fishing. Friday they went up to the Little Red River and caught trout, and then spent Saturday on Lake Maumelle.

Sharon & I took lunch to the guys and spent the afternoon in the boat.

How BIG is that Rottweiler TONGUE??

Sable enjoyed visiting with her family just as much as we did.

Sable Licking the Door

Many of you know of this video, but have never seen it. So here is Sable's favorite pass time.

Bug in Bed with Her Daddy

Before bed each night, she slides between us for good night kisses, and when I turn the light out she moves to her doggie bed on the floor. But, mornings are spectacular for Sable. When I get in the shower, Sable gets in the bed with Jeremy. She snoozes right along with him for another hour while I ready for work. Believe me; she's got the pillow thing down to an art!!
I agree with my mom's recent statement that Sable lives a pretty extravagant life!!

The Baby's Swimmy Pool

Summer is near, and big thanks go to Toys R Us for their early shipment of plastic pools. Sable had a grand time splashing in her new pool on Sunday. Maybe I should have bought a larger pool.

Flower Bed

Last Friday Jeremy & Bug spent the day fishing. Classes were out for a consultation day which means he should have been home studying for final exams. But do you know the same Jeremy Reese that I do?? We know how studying "really" goes around here.
After work I went by the Good Earth Garden and bought dirt and petunias. We spent the afternoon and the rest of the weekend working in our flower bed. Our neighbors kindly gave us border grass to transplant. I think it all looks terrific.

Outdoor Dining

Our recent purchase allows for beautiful dining in the warm evenings, and we have already enjoyed dinners by candlelight. We just hope the mosquitoes will continue to omit their presence . . . yea right!

Time Passes By

As Sable nears her first birthday and us our first anniversary, we reflect on the year gone by. The Lord has truly been wonderful to us. We thank God for our new home, jobs, school, church and new friends. Such blessings that we can never show enough gratitude for. We wish to thank all our family for their continued support as we build our lives together and continue our education so far away from home. We miss each of you. We also thank our friends here in Arkansas. Our dear friendships with the Bell's, Desjardin's, England's, Joe Rose and others have all made our beginning so dear and memorable. Thanks and love to all of you!!!

Walleye in Lake Maumelle

Jeremy went fishing with Phil last Friday afternoon. To Jeremy's surprise, he caught a Walleye! Fortunately, Mom sent a cookbook full of fish recipes for Easter. Although the book has plenty of trout recipes, walleye is included. We can now say that walleye is pretty yummy!!
